We are pleased to announce that an Active Shooter Seminar will be held on June 23, 2023, at the Lauttamus Communications and Security Event Center located at 1000 Colliers Way in Weirton, WV. This event is intended to provide valuable information and training to those interested in learning how to respond effectively to an active shooter or violent intruder situation.

Group events are meant to be a time of enjoyment and togetherness, but unfortunately, they can also be targets for violent intruders. In recent years, there have been numerous tragic incidents of active shooter situations in various public places. In response to this alarming trend, it's become increasingly important for groups holding events to have an active shooter/violent intruder response training plan in place. Such training equips organizers, staff, and attendees with the knowledge and skills necessary to react quickly and effectively during a crisis. By having a well-prepared response plan, the likelihood of injury or loss of life is greatly reduced, and it helps to ensure that everyone feels safe and secure. Protecting those in attendance is of utmost importance, and taking proactive measures through proper training can make all the difference.

Please note that you must have a ticket to enter the event, and we ask that no more than two people from your organization attend so that everyone has a chance to receive this valuable information.
