A.V. Lauttamus Communications, Inc.- On Call Communications, has been honored with the exclusive ATSI 2023 Award of Excellence. This award is presented annually by the Association of TeleServices International (ATSI), the industry’s Trade Association for providers of telecommunications and call center services including telephone answering and message delivery across North America and the UK. A.V. Lauttamus Communications, Inc. On Call Communications was presented with the award at ATSI’s 2023 conference held in Atlanta, GA.

Independent judges are contracted by ATSI to evaluate message services over a six month period. The scoring criteria includes:

  • Response Time
  • Courteousness of Customer Service Rep
  • Accuracy of Call
  • Knowledge of Account
  • Overall Impression of Call

The award started 27 years ago as a means to improve the overall quality of the call center industry by setting expectations and measurements to ensure a successful call handling experience. ATSI was founded in 1942 as a National Trade Association representing live answering services.

Paul Lauttamus, President, said “we are honored and humbled to receive this award.” “It’s a testament to the commitment of our staff to deliver quality customer service on every call for every customer,” he added. We want to recognize the top three team members, Kayla Conley, Melissa Veres, and Willow Call for scoring the highest.

Department of Defense Names Semifinalists for 2020 Top Employer Award

WASHINGTON– Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense (DoD) program, has identified 143 employers as semifinalists for the 2020 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award, commonly referred to as the Freedom Award.

The Freedom Award is the highest recognition presented by the DoD to employers who provide the most outstanding support for National Guard and Reserve Members. ESGR runs the program on behalf of the Secretary of Defense, and since its inception in 1996, 280 employers have earned this prestigious honor.

The semifinalists were selected from 2,623 submissions by service members and they will be narrowed down to 30 finalists. The ESGR National Selection Board, comprised of senior DoD officials and representatives from the Reserve Components, will then select up to 15 employers who will receive the Freedom Award in a ceremony at the Pentagon August 28. The semifinalists represent large and small employers from almost every industry and the public sector across 50 states, Guam-CNMI, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia.
