WEIRTON, W.Va. — A non-profit group is teaming up with Lauttamus Communications and Security to help people struggling with addiction.
The pairing was announced Tuesday afternoon at Lauttamus Communications and Security’s office in Weirton. The company will be offering a toll free line that can be utilized 24/7 by those who want the help of Never Alone West Virginia.
The group says people who are fighting drug addiction or their family members can ask for information regarding treatment centers, support group meetings, detox, counselors and more.
“It’s really important to us because we want to give back to our community,” said Paul Lauttamus, President of Lauttamus Communications & Security.
“We think it’s outstanding that Paul at Lauttamus Communications and Security wants to support Never Alone. There’s so many families out there that are struggling with their loved ones, and I think, as he said, this is a great way to give back to help those who are struggling,” said Patti Barnabei, founder of Never Alone West Virginia.
The number will be operational at the end of the week. At that time, the number will be 304-723-6431.
