Lauttamus Communications and Security President Paul Lauttamus announced his company has acquired a Pittsburgh-based security company, JR Alarms.
JR Alarms was established in 2005 by Scott Yacoviello and specializes in monitoring, installing and servicing alarm systems for residential and business customers in the Pittsburgh region.
Yacoviello said the sale would allow him to focus on his electrical contracting business. “We sold our company to Lauttamus because of their outstanding reputation in the security industry, and they will keep jobs and service local,” said Yacoviello.
“This was a good strategic fit for our company and allows us access to markets in Western Pennsylvania,” said Lauttamus. “This also affords us the opportunity to grow our reoccurring revenue base,” Lauttamus added.
