Numeric Paging
What is numeric paging?
Numeric paging is a paging service that alerts the user and displays numbers on the pager display screen. Usually the number that is displayed is a phone number the user is being requested to call. The user responds by calling the number on the display.
Numeric paging is inexpensive and easy to use. The user can be instructed to call any phone number, and the message can be read privately. Numeric pagers will store numerous messages until the user can respond.
Numeric Paging Is Easy to Use
A caller dials a pager phone number. He or she is actually dialing into a paging terminal over telephone lines in much the same manner as a normal phone call. After the greeting, enter the phone number they want the pager user to call them back at.
